Isle O' Hags Klungo: You face Klungo three different times in Isle O' Hags. Once in the tunnel between Spiral Mountain and Jinjo Village (Minion with a Mission), once in the tunnel between Pine Grove and the Wasteland (Revenge-Seeking Minion), and once more in Cauldron Keep (Career-Questioning Minion). Klungo's power comes from potions. There are three different potions he can drink, which appear randomly in each game. The green potion gives Klungo invisibility, the blue allows him to split into multiple Klungos, and the red will make Klungo grow into a larger Klungo. Each potion will work until you hit Klungo three times. After each time you hit Klungo, he will return to normal, hide in a shield, and throw flasks at you for a little bit. Just keep moving around him in circles at this stage and he shouldn't hit you (his throw gets more accurate as the battles go on). Giant Klungo- When Klungo gets big, watch out so he doesn't stomp on you. Just roll into him or hit him with any of your moves and he will go back to throwing potions. Invisible Klungo- Although Klungo is invisible, you can still see his shadow on the ground. You will want to keep your eyes on this. When you get near him, hit him to make him go back to throwing potions again. Split up Klungo- When Klungo stops throwing potions, keep a good eye on him as he splits up. The real Klungo will always be the last one to move, so hit him with any ordinary attack to return him to his normal form and cause him to start throwing flasks again. Mayahem Temple Targitzan (Despotic Dizzy Totem God): He is located inside the Really Sacred Chamber inside his temple. He is quite easy to beat once you master the skill of using the C left and C right buttons to move side to side while shooting him. Targitzan consists of many rows of spinning blocks with targets and guns on each level. You must shoot all the targets on one level, and the level will be knocked away. After you knock away each level, Targitzan will send Moggy guards to get you. Just roll into them to easilly dispose of them. Leave the honeycombs if you life energy is full, you might need them later. For the first section, take your time for there is nothing shooting back at you, and hit the targets. As you shoot at each of the four sections, the more things there are shooting back at you, and this is where the side step move comes in handy, helping you to easilly dodge the arrows. After you deliver the final hit, get behind one of the four statues in the corners to avoid getting hurt when he blows up. Then, you can get the Jiggy. Glitter Gulch Mine Old King Coal (Grubby Boiler Monarch): Old King Coal is by far the easiest boss in this game. He is located in the boiler room of the train, accessable once Mumbo puts the train back on the tracks. There is a timer that slowly ticks away. You obviously have to win this battle before the timer hits zero. Once the battle starts, get on one of the platforms, and hit up C. You should have your aimer out, so start pelting him with eggs. Ten hits will take off his left arm, another ten will take care of his right arm, fifeteen more, will leave him nothing but legs, and a last fifeteen will finish him off. Witchyworld Mr. Patch (Strange Wobbly Inflatable Thing): Mr. Patch can be found inside the big tent. You can only harm him with grenade eggs, and after one hit, only from the air. Mr. Patch is (surprisingly) covered with patches. You must hit them all with grenade eggs to finish him off (twelve in all). You won't get hurt if you bump into him. After the first hit, take to the air fast, because punching gloves begin to pop out of the ground at alarming rates. After a few more hits, Mr. Patch will begin throwing beach balls at you. Get close before shooting grenade eggs at him to save eggs. If you run out of red feathers or eggs, there are refills on the ground near the fly pads. After twelve hits, he will go flying away. Jolly Roger's Lagoon Lord Woo Fak Fak (Self-Important Anglerfish): He is located in D. Jones' locker in the Locker's Cavern area. You need to fight Lord Fak as the submarine, or with Banjo and Kazooie using grenade eggs. What you first do is aim for the boils on his back. There are a bunch, but only one is blinking orange. The one blinking orange is the one you need to hit. He will be shooting lasers at you, so you don't want to stay in the same place for very long. After hitting his six boils, his eyes open and the real battle begins (supposively). Get in from of him and hit his eyes six times, but watch out, because he shoots things back at you as well. After you pop out his eyes, he will be done with. Terrydactyland Terry (Disgruntled Pterodactyl Parent): Terry is a father dinosaur living at the top of the mountain. He has two attacks. The first is that he will spit at you as you run around his nest trying to avoid getting hit. The second is that he will leave a pack of Mucoids to you to fend off after you hit Terry. To hit Terry, you will need to wait until the camera zooms in on you. Then pull out your aimer and shoot grenade eggs at him. After thirty hits, Terry will become your friend and ask you to find her eggs. Grunty's Industries Weldar (Visually-Impaired Welding Torch): Weldar is located inside the Air Conditioning Plant, and is probably the hardest boss in this game. He has several attacks, including stomping, fireballs, nuts and bolts, a force feild, and vacuum sucking. After Weldar stops throwing fireballs at you (just keep moving around to dodge them), get into a corner, where his sucking action won't effect you. While he is trying to suck you in, shoot a grenade egg into his mouth. Now he will throw some nuts and bolts at you. Take care of them, then shoot another grenade egg into his mouth as he tries to suck you in. Now Weldar will try to stomp on you. You can tell where he is going to land by watching his shadow, so use the Talon Trot to avoid getting smashed. Once he lands, get into a corner and shoot a grenade egg into his mouth. Now Weldar will start his force field, which will hurt you if you run into. His cycle of attacks will now repeat, and use the same method to finish him off (just watch out for the force field). Hailfire Peaks Chilli Billi (Hot 'N' Spicy Dragon), and Chilly Willy (cold 'N' Icy Dragon): These two brother live on both the icy and firy peaks in the top of the level. They both have the same two attacks; spitting things at you and sliding their tongue around. To hurt Billi you will need to use Ice Eggs, and for Willi fire eggs. The first one you face will take six hits to finish off, and whichever you face second will take twelve hits. When the battle starts, quickly get behind one of the cannons, and shoot a fire/ice egg into it. The cannon will propel the egg into the dragon, and the cannon will lower. Now you need to jump over the dragon's tongue as it slides back and forth, trying to hit you. Each cannon will serve you three shots before it disapears (there are four cannons). The second dragon will move his tongue faster, shoot faster, and shoot more accuratly. Cloud Cuckoo Land Mingy Jongo (Crafty Shaman Impersonator): Mingy Jongo can be found in either of the Mumbo Skulls (the location is random). The robot's wand can shoot things at you, as well as teleport to different places in the room. After Jonjo has fired at you four times, he will pause, and that is when you should pelt some eggs at him, or rolling works as well. This goes on, and after four hits he will start teleporting after every shot instead of after every four shots. Eight hits will finish him off. Cauldron Keep Hag 1 (MonstrousMechanical Mud-Muncher): Grunty and her digging machine will be your last challenge in the game. The quizzing comes back, for Grunty will ask you several questions that you must answer correctly to recieve her slower attack as opposed to her faster attack. The first stage is when Grunty will turn on two lasers and start spinning around. Jump over the lasers, until it stops and Grunty pops out to ask a question. After the question, go to first person view, and shoot eggs at her, while side stepping to avoid her attacks. Once you get her hits down to ninety, she will turn on the other two lasers, and you must do the same thing. Once you get the hits down to eighty, Grunty will take out a missle shooter (thing). It shoots a missile on the ground, and the tip goes in the direction of Banjo. This is pretty easy to dodge, just jump over it. After ten more hits, a second missile will come out. You do the same thing as before, and it shoudn't be any harder. Now that Grunty realizes that her missiles aren't working, she will try to run you down with the machine. Use the Talon Trot to stay ahead of her. Lasers will also come out, so you have to watch out for when the machine changes direction. Try to stay in the back, because every now and then the machine will stall. When this happens, shoot a Clockwork Kazooie egg, and guide it into the exhaust pipe in the back of the machine. Inside, there will be a bunch of cords, a few scattered Baddies, and two batteries. Run towards one of the two batteries and blow it up. Do the same for the other battery the next time the machine stalls. This will turn off the machine. Now the battle is just between you and Grunty. She has her magic shooting at you, and you shoot eggs back at her. Grunty will also release Baddies to get in your way, but if you keep moving they shouldn't be a problem. Once you have almost won, Grunty will release piosonous gas. It shouldn't change your strategy though; keep shooting at her. Once you get her down to one more hit, she will threaten you with her most powerful magic spell ever. While she whipping it up, you will have to quickly shoot an egg at her, and she will fumble it, causing her end. If you fail to hit her in time, you must start over from the beginning. |
