Mayahem Temple


Targitzan's ancient temple towers over this lush lost world. The natives have long vanished but chatty statues and a giant snake stand guard over the vine-wrapped ruins. But the old ways have not completely died out, as you'll discover when you stumble into the kickball stadium.


Jiggies:


1) Find the big temple in the middle of the level, and climb the steps. Find the small ramps on the back and climb to the top, and the Jiggy.


2) Change to the Goden Goliath (see Mumbo section for more details), and kick the nearest door, making it open. Once inside, go to the left, and you should see a swamp. Walk to the Jiggy.


3) Cross the bridge near Targitzan's temple and talk to Bovina the cow. She will ask you to shoot down the annoying bugs that are eating her grass. Press Up C and shoot down the bugs with your aimer, and Bovina will give you a Jiggy.


4) Once you are a Stony (see the Humba Wumba section for details), and win the Kickball Tournament (see Minigames Section for details).


5) In Jade Snake Grove, in the templ area, there is a snake with a Jiggy on the roof. With Banjo and Kazooie, jump up and tiptoe to the Jiggy. If you go too fast, the snake will swallow the Jiggy. Just jump down and try again. If you want to know an easier way that I used, you can get it by jumping (jump with the Talon Trot, then Rat-a-tat-tat). You should be able to get it after a few tries.


6) In the other door that you can break with the Golden Goliath, go on top of the building with little guy trapped inside. Use the Grip Grab to grab the ledge to your left, and go over to the Wading Boots. Get them, jump down, and make your way across the swamp to the Jiggy.


7) Once you have learned the Bill Drill move from Glitter Gulch Mine, go through the passage underwater in the Prison Compound area. In the room that you come out in, Bill Drill the boulder in the middle, and go in the hole. Beak Barge the first column to your right, and continue around counter-clockwise until the Jiggy above get low enough for you to get. There is a timer, so hurry up.


8) Open the Treasure temple by shooting eggs into each statue at the corners of the temple. Once inside, talk to the guy so he opens the top door as well. Then, fly into the top door. Make your way to the left, and you will find yourself in Unga Bunga's Cave. He has the treasure that you need to bring to the guy back in the treasure room. Tiptoe by (or jump), and steal the treasure from him. Bring it back to the guy in the treasure room and he will award you with a Jiggy.


9) Once you have learned the Breegull Blaster move, enter Targitzan's temple. Inside, the object is to collect statues (see Minigames section for more details). Once you collect ten, you gain access to the Slightly Sacred Chamber, where a Jiggy awaits your arrival.


10) Once you collect twenty Sacred Statues in Targitzan's temple, you gain access to the Really Sacred Chamber. Beat Targitzan (see Bosses section for more details) and you will be awarded a Jiggy.


Jinjos:


1) A jinjo awaits your arrival in the middle of the bridge on the top of the level.


2) At the bottom of the pool at the end of the stream in the main area.


3) Fly over to the Kickball Stadium and you will see a Jinjo on the roof.


4) On the ledge right behind the Mole Hole in Jade Snack Grove.


5) In Targitzan's temple, in the tunnel directly across from the entrance to the Really Sacred Chamber.


Cheatos:


1) Fly to the upper entrance to the Treasure Chamber temple.


2) In Jake Snade Grove, use the Grip Grab move to go along the crack and drop onto the ledge where the Cheato is.


3) In the Prison Compound area, go along the wall with the Grip Grab move, go into the tunnel, and follow it to get the Cheato page.


Honeycombs:


1) Transform to the Stony, and go into the little tunnel behind the entrance to the level.


2) Fly to the alcove above Bovina's little hut to get a honeycomb.


3) Inside the Treasure Chamber, top on of the big piles of gold.


Minigames:


Mayan Kickball:
Here is how you play. Yellow balls give you points, red balls deduct points, and black balls serve as bombs. Press Z to shoot the ball, and B to tackle. Tackling other people will result in a steal.


Quarter Final- In here there are just yellow balls. Each one is two points each. Kick as many as you can into your goal. Get the most points to win


Semi Final- No there are yellow balls and red balls. Kick red balls into your goal, and kick red balls into other people's goals to deduct one point from there total.


Final- No the black balls have been added as well. When they hit somebody, it will make them dizzy for a few seconds. I suggest not using them, because I always end up getting too close when I use them, and I end up making myself dizzy also. Win the final you will get a Jiggy.


Mumbo Jumbo:


Mumbo's place is located right outside of Targitzan's temple. The Glowbo in right inside the door, in the green rising stuff. Give the Glowbo to Mumbo, and you can control him. Scattered throughout each level is least one Mumbo pad. Once you change to Mumbo, press B on the pad and something will happen. The Mumbo pad in this level is located about halfway up the mountain. Press B while standing on it, and Mumbo will summon the Golden Goliath, which you can control for a limited amount of time. Go back the boulder over the flying pad, kick the two door skull doors open, and go into Jade Snake Grove and get the Jiggy in the swamp.


Humba Wumba:


Humba Wumba is the character how
transforms Banjo and Kazooie into various
things. In this level, it just so happens to
be a Stony. Her wigwam can be found to
the right once you enter Jade Snake Grove.
The Glowbo is located right outside of her
place. Once you change to a Stony, you
can enter the Kickball Tournament.


Moves:


Grip Grab- In the entrance area to Jade Snake Grove is where Jamjar's Hatch is located. The Grip Grab allows Banjo to grab onto ledges and cracks in the wall. To climb up when you are hanging, press A, and to let go, press Z.


Breegull Blaster- Near Targitzan's temple, on a small ledge leading to the bottom is another Jamjar's Hatch. Here you learn the Breegull Blaster, which allows Banjo to take Kazooie out of her backpack and use her as a machine gun. You can't use this move whenever you want though, and it will automatically happen when you enter an area where you need to use it (it reminds me of playing Golden Eye).


Egg Aim- Near Targitzan's temple on the main path is the last Jamjar's Hatch in this level. Here you are taught how to shoot eggs when looking though the first person view.


Targitzan:


Once you enter the Really Sacred
Chamber, you will meet Targitzan.
Targitzan's body is covered with
targets, and there are three sections.
Once you shoot all the targets in
one section, it will blow up leaving
you another section to shoot at.
The first section is easy, because
there is nothing shooting back at
you. Once you shoot all the targets,
Targitzan will release some baddies.
I suggest letting them get really
close to you so that honeycombs
will be sitting right there if you need them. You continue the process for each section. Each new section has more guns shooting at you. If you need to take cover, go behind one of the four stones. But be warned: you can't stay there for long, or else they will explode. And also, save one or the end, because when you destroy his third section, he will self desctruct, and you will need cover. If you survive all this, the Jiggy is yours.
